How it works

Step 1
Let your pet inspect the tool first. Hold the paw gently and place only the tip of one nail inside the transparent guard.
Step 2
The two LEDs add visibility around light or translucent nails. Make one small cut, reassess the nail and continue only if you are confident.
Step 3
Remove the bottom cap and use the built-in grinder in short passes to round any rough edge left after clipping.
Important: the light is a visibility aid, not a guarantee. The quick may still be hard to see in dark, thick or opaque nails. Trim tiny amounts and stop if you are unsure.

Not always. The light helps most with light or translucent nails. On dark, thick or opaque nails, the quick can remain hidden, so take very small amounts and ask a groomer or veterinarian for help if you are unsure.

It is designed for dog and cat nails, but paw and nail size vary. Use it only when the nail sits securely in the cutting area and your pet can be handled calmly.
Introduce the sound before touching the paw, reward calm behavior and work in short sessions. The product is not silent; stop and try another day if your pet becomes stressed.
The device has a USB-C charging port. Charge it fully before grooming and keep it dry while connected to power.
The problem
Trimming a pet's nails at home is a confidence problem more than a skill problem. Cut too far and you hit the quick, the nail bleeds, and your pet remembers it—which makes the next attempt harder for both of you.
On pale nails you can sometimes find the quick by holding the paw up to a window. On dark nails you are guessing, and guessing is how it goes wrong.
The shift
Two LEDs sit behind the blade and light the nail from underneath, so the darker line of the quick shows through before you close the clipper. You cut in front of it instead of estimating where it ends.
Once the nail is short enough, the built-in grinder rounds the edge so it does not catch on fabric or skin, and a debris guard keeps the dust away from your pet's face. One tool covers both halves of the job, for dogs and cats.
