How to use
- Clean the glass first, then the cups. Both must be free of dust and grease — this is the single thing that decides whether the hammock holds.
- Press each cup firmly and hold for a few seconds until it flattens against the glass.
- Mount it low. Waist height or below, so a fall is a short one while your cat is learning to trust it.
- Test it with your own weight before the cat. Press down hard with both hands. If anything shifts, take it down and reseat the cups.
- Re-press the cups weekly, and always after a cold night. Suction weakens as temperature swings.
Good to know
- Suction cups can and do release, especially on cold glass, in direct heat, or on textured and coated windows. Check them regularly.
- Mount low until you have watched your cat use it several times. Never mount it above a stairwell, radiator, or hard furniture.
- Not for a window that gets opened. Not for the outside of any window.
- Best for one adult cat of average size. Not suitable for large or heavy cats, kittens learning to jump, or elderly cats with poor balance.
- Spot clean the fabric. The steel frame does not go in the washing machine.
